Could someone tell me where that spot is? I've just started fishing the Minnesota and I've caught a few 20 pounders but nothing over that. Where are the monsters Hiding?

@Buglemintoday More than likely Suffix or PowerPro. That's what most of us use anyways...

@dserb333 In our neck of the woods, we have problems with larger fish absorbing toxins like mercury. Any flathead of this size is around 20 years of age, and that's a long time to be absorbing toxins. The safest bet for an eater flathead is under 10 lbs. Personally, if I have a choice, I won't harvest a flathead no matter what size, just too darn cool of a fish! Selective harvest, let the big ones go, keep a few of the smaller ones. Let them live to fight another day! Happy fishin!

@MrSportsman15 That is a BF 55, which I'm pretty sure has been discontinued by Cabelas. |
