Yes, the bullheads will be on the bite especially in about 2 weeks. Should be excellent. Good luck!

A good way to find out if catfish exist in a particular body of water would be to check out the "Ontario guide to eating fish" booklet. It will list the fish found in lakes & rivers. Good fishing!

What other rivers would you recommend in Ontario?

@LegacySurvivalTips Catfish will enter shallow muddy creeks as they prepare for their spawning journey.Fishing for them should be excellent within 8 weeks or so after ice-out.Try still-fishing with fish cut-bait & cast in an erea with less current if possible.Set the rod on a rod holder and wait for a bite. Your bait should be resting on bottom and must be stationary. Re-bait every half hour to keep it fresh.Give this a try & good luck!
